Jul. 10th, 2006 03:38 pmA busy weekend. I didn't even have time to see the All Blacks trounce the Wallabies :-)
Our friend Sprite is in Sydney this week, running a training course for AAMI. She came up to Glenbrook on Saturday & we went to see Superman Returns in the evening. The movie was not bad at all - I loved Kevin Spacey as Luthor. Brandon was good too. I'm glad they built the story off the Christopher Reeves films, IMHO it worked. The only issue I had was with Superman's costume - it sucked! You don't screw around with something like that, people!
Sunday: we visited the Norman Lindsay Gallery in the morning. To find out more about this artist, click the link: http://www.abc.net.au/dimensions/dimensions_in_time/Transcripts/s865289.htm
We ate lunch at the pub in Blackheath (steak & kidney pie, yum) on our way to Jenolan Caves.
Only had time for one tour, so we chose the "Temple of Baal" cave. I'm afraid the pictures don't do it justice.
