The one who seduced you and fucked you over and broke your heart in a million pieces and laughed about it: Comics. X-men (and X-Factor, and The New Mutants, and X-overs galore …. – that would be the million pieces, late 80's part of things). Legion of Superheroes (that would be the break-my-heart, reboot, reboot, reboot…).
The old flame(s) you don't see very often any more but whom you still really enjoy getting together with for a few drinks and maybe a pleasant nostalgic romp in the sheets: Babylon 5.
The mysterious dark gothy one(s) whom you used to sit up with talking until 3 a.m. at weird coffeehouses and with whom you were quite smitten until you realized s/he really was fucking crazy: Buffy/Angel. Well, not always crazy. The Bronze was great fun. There were intellectually demanding websites, like "Above the Law" (what's there now is nothing compared to the original - what happened to that?). But if you've ever tried to keep up with the posts on the "Bloody Awful Poets Society" list*, you'll know what I mean.
*WTF was I doing there? Even now I'm not sure.
The one you spent a whole weekend in bed with and who drank up all your liquor, and whom you'd still really like to fuck again although you're relieved s/he doesn't actually live in town: Blake's 7
The steady: Pros, Pros, Pros....
The alluring strangers whom you've flirted with at parties but have never gotten really serious with: Smallville, UFO, Ultraviolet, Torchwood, Life on Mars, Doctor Who, BSG ... I guess I flirt a lot.
The one you hang out with and have vague fantasies about maybe having a thing with but ultimately you're just good buddies 'cause the friendship is there but the chemistry ain't: Due South.
The ones your friends keep introducing you to and who seem really cool except it's never really gone anywhere: Starsky & Hutch, The Sentinel.
The one who's slept with all your friends, and you keep looking at him/her and thinking, "how the hell did s/he land all these cool babes/boys?": Stargate anything.
The one your friend has fallen for like a ton of bricks and whom s/he keeps babbling to you about on the phone for hours, and you'd be happy for her/him except you just know it's going to end badly: Supernatural
