The bloke and I watched "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer" tonight. Not bad overall - I'll spare you details of the LOLz about product placement, inappropriately timed humour and bad wedding planning. We did wonder if Julian McMahon had something in his contract about the amount of screen time he would get without having to wear von Doom's mask.


The WTF moment right at the end was when we finally saw what the sun-eaterGalactus looked like, just before Ferro Ladthe Silver Surfer plunged into itshis (oh, hang on, Galactus was an it in this version... ) heart, sacrificing himself (well, not quite) to save the sun Earth.
