Your result for The Classic Dames Test...
Katharine Hepburn

You are the fabulously quirky and independent woman of character. You go your own way, follow your own drummer, take your own lead. You stand head and shoulders next to your partner, but you are perfectly willing and able to stand alone. Others might be more classically beautiful or conventionally woman-like, but you possess a more fundamental common sense and off-kilter charm, making interesting men fall at your feet. You can pick them up or leave them there as you see fit. You share the screen with the likes of Spencer Tracy and Cary Grant, thinking men who like strong women.

Date: 2008-09-27 04:16 am (UTC)Wow Katharine! *is impressed*
I got Rosalind Russell and was very happy. I was also delighted to find out how many Barbara Stanwycks I have on my flist as you never know when you might need help burying a body.
I don't know if you've seen any of my posts about LJ screwing up icons -- there's a whole string of complaints registered with LJ -- but I've been trying to give friends a heads up if I notice anything "odd" about their icons. Your default icon now looks to me like a woman's crossed legs with a caption that says "she will be loved." As it is your default icon it's attached to most of your posts. I *think* it used to be water and it still appears to be labelled water so I though I'd screen cap it for you, just in case.

Date: 2008-09-27 04:38 am (UTC)As in the screencap above, I'm seeing the woman in the pink t-shirt. That's part of the problem. When my friends started seeing the wrong icon I was still seeing the right one and only some of my friends could see the problem -- half of my friends in England could still see my Bodie icon and the other half were seeing a drawing of a man with a bandaged hand. You might want to ask your other friends what they're seeing.
People don't generally point it out as they just assume it's a new interest.
