Congratulations, America.

There is much to do and undo, and no easy road ahead. I wish you all well, and hope, fervently, that your new President will earn your respect in office as he has as a candidate, as a human being.

I worry about the weight of the expectations that have been placed on his shoulders, and the risks that he will carry because of who he is.

Bless America, bless Obama.

Hey there. I worry as you do, but...oh, just listening to him last night was amazing. Intelligence! We have a president-elect who is literate and intelligent. Wow. And a man who remains calm in the face of stupidity and adversity. That's really something.
